شاركت السيدة نسرين حسن، رئيسة مجلس أمناء مؤسسة جناح أزرق، في حوار منظمات المجتمع المدني – الأمم المتحدة حول بناء السلام 2025 في جنيف، وهو أحد أهم المنصات العالمية التي تجمع فاعلي المجتمع المدني مع صُنّاع القرار في الأمم المتحدة لمناقشة مستقبل بناء السلام في عالم يزداد تشظّيًا.
جاءت مشاركة السيدة نسرين حسن بدعوة من مكتب وكيل الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة للشؤون السياسية وبناء السلام، وبدعم وقيادة السيدة إليزابيث سبهار، الأمينة العامة المساعدة لدعم بناء السلام، وهي دبلوماسية دولية رفيعة تتمتع بخبرة واسعة في قيادة عمليات السلام، ودعم الحوار السياسي، وتعزيز دور المجتمع المدني في السياقات الهشّة والمعقّدة..وتوجّهت حسن بالشكر إلى وزارة الخارجية السويسرية، والبعثات الدائمة لكل من ألمانيا وفنلندا والدنمارك لدى الأمم المتحدة في جنيف، لدعمهم هذا الحوار الحيوي.
وخلال مشاركتها، أكدت السيدة نسرين حسن على أن السلام المستدام في سوريا لا يمكن أن يتحقق دون الاستثمار الحقيقي في الإنسان، ودعت إلى تعزيز الدعم الدولي لمسار السلام والاستقرار، مع تركيز خاص على برامج التدريب وبناء القدرات والتمكين لكوادر الحكومة والمجتمع المدني، بما يسهم في التحول التدريجي نحو دولة المواطنة، وسيادة القانون، والمؤسسات الفاعلة والشاملة.
كما شددت على أهمية ربط الخبرات المحلية السورية بمساحات صنع القرار الدولية، لضمان سياسات سلام تعكس الواقع وتستجيب لتطلعات السوريين داخل سوريا وفي دول اللجوء والاغتراب.
وفي لفتة رمزية، قدّمت السيدة نسرين حسن للمشاركين قطعة تذكارية مستوحاة من أول رقيم مكتشف في رأس شمرا – أوغاريت على الساحل السوري، بدعم من برنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي (UNDP) في سوريا، في رسالة تؤكد أن سوريا كانت من أوائل من كتبوا الكلمة وصاغوا المعنى، وأن السلام امتدادٌ أصيل لتاريخها الحضاري ودورها الإنساني.
الاستثمار في الإنسان هو استثمار في السلام،
والسلام يبدأ عندما تُسمَع الأصوات الصحيحة على الطاولات الصحيحة.
Ms. Nesreen Hasan, Head of the Board of Trustees of the Blue Wing Foundation, participated in the 2025 CSO–UN Dialogue on Peacebuilding in Geneva, one of the most important global platforms bringing together civil society actors and UN decision-makers to reflect on the future of peacebuilding in an increasingly fragmented world.
Her participation came at the kind invitation of the Office of the UN Under-Secretary-General for Political and Peacebuilding Affairs, with the leadership and support of Ms. Elizabeth Spehar, Assistant Secretary-General for Peacebuilding Support, a senior international diplomat with extensive experience in leading peace operations, advancing political dialogue, and strengthening the role of civil society in complex and fragile contexts.
Ms. Hasan also extended her appreciation to the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, and the Permanent Missions of Germany, Finland, and Denmark to the United Nations in Geneva, for their support of this vital dialogue.
During her participation, Ms. Nesreen Hasan emphasized that sustainable peace in Syria cannot be achieved without genuine investment in people. She called for increased international support for peace and stability pathways in Syria, with a particular focus on training, capacity-building, and empowerment programs for government and civil society cadres, to support a gradual transition toward a state based on citizenship, the rule of law, and effective, inclusive institutions.
She further stressed the importance of bridging Syrian local expertise with global decision-making spaces, to ensure peace policies that are grounded in reality and responsive to the aspirations of Syrians inside Syria and across the diaspora.
In a symbolic gesture, Ms. Hasan presented participants with a commemorative piece inspired by the first discovered tablet from Ras Shamra (Ugarit) on the Syrian coast, supported by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Syria, conveying a message that Syria was among the earliest civilizations to write the word and shape meaning, and that peace is a natural extension of its deep-rooted civilizational and human legacy.
Investing in people is investing in peace.
And peace begins when the right voices are heard at the right tables.
